Meet Virginia…

Growing up in Washington, D.C., Virginia’s love of design and art began at an early age through frequent visits to the National Gallery of Art. Her appreciation for well-appointed homes also blossomed in childhood, inspired by the thoughtful details she observed in her family’s residences.

Virginia spent her young adult years in the South, earning a B.A. in Art History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain—where she has family roots—researching the history of Spanish Modernist Art.

After graduation, Virginia joined the AD100 firm Mark Cunningham Inc., where principal designer Mark Cunningham took her under his wing and taught her the intricacies of the design industry. Through hard work and dedication, she was soon entrusted with her own projects in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, and Healdsburg, California.

Virginia credits much of her refined, sophisticated aesthetic to her time working with Michael S. Smith—the renowned designer of the Obama White House—where she contributed to projects in New York City, the Hamptons, and Palm Beach. She also worked for the AD100 firm Julie Hillman Design and the boutique firm Chiara de Rege, where she helped reimagine the Carolina Herrera flagship boutique on Madison Avenue.

Virginia has completed projects throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area, as well as in San Francisco, New York City, Boca Raton, Easton (Maryland), and Greenwich (Connecticut). In addition to luxury interior design, she serves as an Art Advisor for clients and collectors, and as a Creative Advisor for weddings and events across the globe—from Mallorca, Spain, to Palm Beach, Florida, and Easton, Maryland.
